Terms of service

Last updated: 5 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of soznique.com and purchases from Soznique ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK or EU law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) and applicable EU consumer protection legislation.

About us

Soznique sells curated artisan textiles, rugs, and handicrafts. Our contact details are set out in our Contact information policy.

Products and descriptions

We describe products as accurately as possible. Handcrafted items may show natural variation in colour, texture, and finish. Product images are representative; minor differences from photographs are normal for artisan goods.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include VAT where applicable for UK and EU customers unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

Orders and contract formation

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch (for example, due to stock unavailability, pricing error, suspected fraud, or export restrictions).

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment provider. Your order will not be dispatched until payment has been authorised.

Delivery

Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping policy. Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide.

Returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel, return, and receive a refund are explained in our Refund policy. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty or not as described.

Bespoke and made-to-order items

Custom commissions, personalised items, and made-to-order pieces may be excluded from the standard cancellation right once production has begun, as permitted by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and equivalent EU rules. We will confirm any such exclusions before you commit to purchase.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Soznique and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, or use the Services for unlawful purposes.

Limitation of liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, or in an EU member state, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under the laws of your country of residence.

Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of your country of residence if you are an EU consumer.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
